Day 255/17. Kaffir Lily - Fabulous autumn colours.

Schizostylis coccinea are South African flowers, members of the Iris family and commonly known as Kaffir lilies.
They provide a striking red flash in our flower borders at this time of year. I managed to catch this one with some late afternoon sun between the clouds. While having a distinctly tropical look about them, they seem very happy growing here in southern England.
