HM Bark Endeavour

I was pleased to see that  this ship, a full-size working replica of Captain James Cook's HM Bark Endeavour, is still moored on the River Tees at Stockton. It has recently been sold for £110,000.The ship was built 23 years ago at a cost of £2.5m and is identical inside and out to the vessel that Cook used to discover Australia 247 years ago.
The 100ft long ship is one of only two full size replicas of Endeavour in the world, the other being in Australia.
