Bankers did themselves proud

in Bristol in the 18th/19th centuries.  This was one of several banks in Corn Street - the hub of Bristol's commerce.  Now it is the Cosy Club with a huge wooden bar, rather well in keeping with the rest of the enormous room.  The other end of the ceiling is in the extras
