Guarding the castle.
This afternoon we were passing Stirling castle and stopped off to have a look at the highland cattle. Once we had checked them out we went on to have a stroll on the Kings Knot where I took this shot.
The Kings Knot used to be an ornate garden but was turned over to vegetable plots during the last war. It seems that after 1945, the area was just sewn with grass and pretty much left alone. It is now well used by dog walkers and the local kids and a place to hang out.
