Mouette Demontre un Entrechat

Spent a couple hours at the marina this afternoon with my blipbuddy Mary Jo photographing seagulls, hoping for a repeat of our last encounter.  Sadly, the gulls weren't in the mood and just didn't seem all that interested in helping us out.  We figured out that wind was the missing inspirational element today.  When it's very windy, the seagulls seem to float in the air so we can take leisurely in-flight photos.  Our last "photo shoot" with them was very windy and we got some spectacular shots.  Today, they just grabbed the bread and flew off, very quickly.

Translation: "Seagull demonstrating an entrechat", (a vertical jump during which a dancer repeatedly crosses the feet and beats them together rapidly).  I think he was trying to channel Baryshnikov.
