Young coot

Seems rather late to have young, and there only seemed to be one left. I hope it will survive the winter. While I was trying to frame this picture with a long focal length, I accidentally shot the extra, which I rather like.

This was probably my first visit to the BCLM this year, as I now find it difficult to get there, even though it's only about 2Km away. However, today I had a blood test at the Guest Hospital in the morning, and an X ray there in the afternoon, and the BCLM is just across the road from the hospital, so I used the time in between for a short visit.
