Good Company

James came over today and I had such a good time that I forgot to ask him for a photograph. It's probably for the best - it always makes me sound like such a creep! He brought doughnuts, but Sian and I had been watching Paula Deen all day and I felt genuinely queasy so had to go without.
Glenda and I are getting on well, and slowly but surely I think we are becoming firm friends. (Glenda is a cuddly toy in the shape of a piece of broccoli, and she lived with the girls last year, which makes me feel insecure.)
We're going to see The Civil Wars in November, can you believe it?! I'm going to buy a new dress for the occasion!
