So delicate

Don't you just love bougainvillea?! It is so prolific here, it's quite amazing. Obviously hot temperatures don't bother its growth. And whilst it's not in this picture, the very distinctive magenta variety which is the most common bougainvillea you see is such a distinct deep pink!

My blip is taken in friend Veena's garden; I popped in to see her and her daughter for the briefest time in the morning. Have to see her for a proper catch up. And then I met up with G and we visited a very branch of the first telco (Etisalat) to change one of G's SIMs (a line she has had since 2000! It didn't take long at all as there were no other customers in the store. Dropped G back at work and then came home for a few hours.

Got the Peugeot registered in the afternoon - mainly because I need to renew the season parking card! (Long story). Lots of things are changing here... Insurance has gone up (by quite a bit) and there is no longer a free thirty day grace period after the registration expires! Glad though, that the car passed the technical test the first time with no comment.

We had an invite to have dinner with friend Miriam in the evening. She's moved to a new place so it was a bit of a house warming. She cooked a delicious meal, all washed down with Prosecco. :D

We got home too late for me to contemplate posting a blip, so this is a day late(r)!
