Stormy Weather ...

Today, the first fall storm rages across the Low lands near the sea. Wind, lots of wind, rain showers and dark threatening skies. But sometimes for a while the sun seemed to break through the clouds and set pieces of land in bright light.

That also happened in the backyard. For the large glass window of the room is a table outside in the lee of the house. On that table a bowl of small flower pots, filled with a small kind of carnation. I tried to capture such a rare sunshine on one of the flower buds.
