Cleanup At The Marshwalk
The storm surge created by the hurricane blew in a ton of dried reeds choking the inlet area across from The Marshwalk.
No easy way to get the stuff out to the channel and free up the water for boating.
Mrs. ATB. and I were out there this morning trying to help move the reeds out into the tide current. That's me in the background standing on one of the floating docks using an old board found drifting by and giving the reeds a shove.
Then a couple boats will herd the reeds out further.
The tide will bring in more for a while but if a few people get together it can be dealt with.
Inlet life in action.
I just changed the photo to show before and after. Took the second pic about 6:15pm.
