Sardine Run...

Mrs DB has a fascination for fish. Consequently every now and again I come home to find fish ornaments adorning bits of the wall.

This piece of 'artwork' is called 'Sardine Run'. I believe that's something that takes place in South Africa.

THE SARDINE RUN - SOUTH AFRICA

Every year, between the months of May and July, many millions of silvery sardines travel north from the cold southern oceans off South Africa's Cape Point, hugging the shore as they make their way up along the coastlines of the former Transkei (northern Eastern Cape) and KwaZulu-Natal in what is commonly known as the annual Sardine Run.

Very interesting but it would take more that that to get me to eat a tin full.
