Tay Salmon

Last day of my 5 day break today, so where else would I spend it except on the banks of the River Tay? The River Tay watershed seems to have missed the rain that has plagued the rest of the country and the water height is at just about the lowest of the year so far at only 11" above summer level. Despite this we managed a couple of salmon.

Home now, the fire is on and has just been loaded with beech and is burning away quite happily in the living room - it's a chilly wind tonight and with my waders leaking today I am feeling a tad chilled.
