It was another day of heavy showers but there were plenty of sunny periods, one of which we exploited for our late afternoon walk. How the evenings are starting to draw in!
I had a lot of difficulty deciding what to blip today but, in the end, this is the image that stood out for me. I posted an image of a marmalade hoverfly, Episyrphus balteatus, on a miserable day almost exactly one month ago. The light on that day was terrible, in stark contrast to the light this evening...
