Bread Heaven and a lot of coffee
We got up early this morning to find out that it was raining quite a bit. Not what we expected.
But a bit of rain could not stop us.
We went to Soluna Öl und Brot to get some of their wonderful rye sourdough bread an had some for breakfast with a lovely coffee. Next we took the U-Bahn to get to 19 gram to have more coffee and buy some beans. Then we made our way to Alexanderplatz to visit the language school where Neil wants to do an intensive course next year.
After that we dropped into Alexa (shopping centre) and I found the white blouse I was needing for the wedding on Saturday. Success! It was not even expensive.
Then we walked to Father Carpenter, a coffee shop and roaster we wanted to try since a while. We did not like the coffee so much and since we were in town we decided to also try The Barn. Their coffee was more to my liking and the staff was lovely.
We missed the cheese cake place we wanted to go to, but were able to buy a piece to take home :)
Next stop was Stadtmitte, Galerie Lafayette - their food department is just so wow but I managed not to spend a fortune!
We were knackered at that point and took the U-Bahn home to start packing and have dinner. The fridge is still full :).
The photo is the wonderful bakery with the amazing bread - the only bread I eat occasionally.
