I have heard expansion is cheaper than moving house.
There's been quite a bit of it in and around the estate in recent years; almost, but not quite, to the extent that no two houses in  pair of "Semis" is the same as its neighbour.
I think these folk look to have, maybe doubled the house's volume I must have a toddle past some day and see if there's ANY of the, already tiny, garden left.
It's vastly more evident than the other, most recent one.
