Stormy weather.
It was my turn to volunteer at church this morning, and I got there about 10.55. The secretary , who works in the church hall, came to open the door, as she wanted to take a gas & electricity reading. She said, come in and wait inside, so I did. She did what she had to do, and then said, I'll have to lock you in. Fine, says I, and started to prepare for Open Church. There was still no sign of Kevin, and I was starting to get a bit worried. He eventually opened the door, at 11.20, and said, I have been waiting outside for you since 11 o' clock. He was starting to wonder where I was, and went over the hall, saw Angela,( the secretary) who told him where I was. Oh well, all's well that ends well! It wasn't that busy this morning, but, oh boy, did we have a laugh. Larry turned up, ate loads of biscuits, nothing new there, and said to me, Isn't this nice, you & I having a chat. For those of you who don't know about Larry, he has mental health issues, but he is such a lovely, funny man. I thought this stained glass window was very apt, with all the terrible storms that have happened this week. The morning passed really quickly, and afterwards, I walked down to the gym.
