Stourhead Obelisk

We went to Stourhead today, only to find out that dogs are not welcome in the grounds until 4pm.

However, we were allowed in the Estate grounds so we trundled around the fields &  photographed this Obelisk (I have added a cheerful sky because today has been so gloomy)

We then had a sandwich and shared a piece of cake, looked around the NT shop and came home.

Stourhead is beautiful so perhaps we shall go again when autumn is in full glory and leave Millie at home.

In other news, this morning, I became a great aunt for the 11th time!
