Everyday I Write The Book

A bridge too fur

Monty has gone all outdoors again. I don't know why. It's like he's allergic to the house. But he did emerge from his den behind the garage tonight to climb on the extended cat's playground, specifically the bridge. He's the only one that likes it; I think it's because it moulds itself to his figure.

I had a very full on day. I can't believe how busy we are again. Change management on three fronts. It all got a bit much by four o'clock so I went for a walk in the sun and phoned up The Yoga Mama to wish her happy birthday. We are fellow virgos. That is a special bond. The rest of the starsigns don't understand virgos and don't get that if we were allowed to run the world the other starsigns could relax and be happy. We are consummate organisers.

I did get a hug from one of the doctors I work with today, who also said I was a sweetie (something I strongly denied; in my job you have to be grumpy and unapproachable otherwise people keep coming up and asking for help). I like the docs I work with; they are a nice bunch, and often good for a laugh.

In a surprisingly good mood tonight considering what a stressful week it has been ... maybe, like Monty, I have just adapted to my surroundings ...
