Soooo many birds

There were soo many birds in the field this morning. First we had the Woodpecker down and the usual birds that come to the feeders. Then a nice surprise of a small group of long tailed tits. no sooner had they disappeared a goldcrest landed in the fir tree.
In the distance I could see a buzzard at the top of a tree. It flew closer and landed in a tree close by. Two more buzzards appeared and they twisited and turned as they chased each other.
In the field hundreds of swallows and house martins swooped close to the grass and high above the trees. Never seen so many. Then I spotted large flocks of goldfinches on the ragwort, plenty of wagtails too, including young ones. I also spotted a chiffchaff in one of our bushes.
David's graduation tomorrow, so our outfits are set out ready to wear. Hope it stays dry for some outside shots. Think I may need a few tissues!
