Off piste

Polly sometimes liked to go off exploring by herself and today was one of those days. Very different behaviour to that timid little rescue dog we had eight years ago who didn't like being let off the lead and wouldn't leave my side :)

In other news, I've somehow managed to win the Vice Chancellor's Excellence in Research Award for postgraduate students! This means that when I've finished my thesis I can now do the further research I'm interested in as I have £2000 to fund it. Woo hoo!
