Work, then got a few bits for jeanie, and went straight to see her in the care home, labelling the new socks on the train. There were lots of carers there today, then I realised the home had C.Q.C. inspectors visiting.
The dentist was going to see Jeanie, (I had not been told), so I assisted him taking impressions, he asked when I trained to be a dental nurse! Once he had finished the inspector came to chat to Mum and me about the home. Bless her, Mum said she couldn't tell her very much because she doesn't know anything any more. I was about to leave but then there was another torrential rain storm so I stayed a bit longer. Michael, one of the lead carers, said that one of the other residents thinks Jeanie is her daughter and calls her Karen, and Jeanie seems to go along with it, what a surreal place.
I came back once it stopped raining and did a bit more painting again.
