New Forth Crossing

Good lord - opening the curtains this morning, I was confronted by the arrival of the new car ferry plying its trade between Edinburgh and Kinghorn. Just a little digger aboard this 8am arrival, but I expect we'll soon see a regular stream of commuters and who knows, maybe the occasional roadster with a well heeled Fifer.
A busy morning - first up, an emergency trip to the bank to do a payment which will clear us out. Luckily the two abandoned boats which we seized have been flogged so a handy bit of cash arrived not long afterwards - so it was back to the bank. After that, a stroll up Leith Walk with the son before we found a coffee shop. And who called in but the SK, still buzzing from a spell of teaching with the Prince's Trust. No caffeine for her.
Onward, on a secret shopping mission. Wrapping paper! All I need now are some things to wrap.
