Aluminium comb

Made from 3mm thick extruded aluminium bar using only hand tools - hacksaws, files, custom made miniature chisels, and sandpaper.  It's hard to know how long it took, but somewhere around 50 hours, mostly in front of TV.

This torture was driven by the increasingly poor quality of combs available - the last started shedding tines within a couple of months.

And it's what I do - make one-offs of things, like slippers or a bed.

It's a very sparse hobby.
