Nice house, shame about the fishing

The house in the picture here overlooks the bottom pool on the Dinnet beat of the Aberdeenshire Dee. The ghillie told me that when the house was sold over 20 years ago, the new owners thought they had also bought the fishing rights to the frontage. Not so. They must have been pretty miffed to discover those rights were quite separate. As it is, the beat that has the rights doesn't fish that bit which is a mistake since, in high water, there are plenty of salmon lying there. I liked the way the clouds were lining up in this pic taken about 9.30 am (I was waist deep in the middle of the river). This is a backblip added after the long drive south. I'm looking forward to catching up on your blips in the next day or so.
