From St John in the Vale

Thirty of us walkers have come to the Lake District for a weekend break. We started with a short circular fron Castlerigg Stone Circle. This is the view from St John in the Vale, a peaceful, simple church.

We had good weather. Now we are enjoying refreshments in the Patterdale Hotel.

No phone signal and wifi iffy.
