A Colourful Welcome Home!

Yesterday I returned home from almost 6 weeks of travelling around Europe. Early in the summer I planted lots of flowers and also had a few tomato plants that I'd grown from seed. Maybe not the best plan since I was going to be gone most of the summer!  

Thankfully with the help of my wonderful neighbour, John, my flowers were watered all the weeks I was gone, and I came home to this abundant display. I think the wet English summer helped too!  I'm hoping that these continue to flourish for just a bit longer!

Today was a day of trying to get used to being at home again (and missing Dolly of course!). Unpacking, laundry, sorting through the mail (or maybe not!) and catching up with a friend. I have a few days before I have to be back at work. It will go way too quickly, I know.
