Hornet!

Offloading into my bin this morning noticed this Hornet sitting silently on a stone.  He just stayed still  -  absolutely  - so I rushed indoors to fetch my camera.  He was still there when I got back, so I took lots of shots. Of course, when I started to change position to get a better angle he flew off. Took so many shots and just couldn't make up my mind which one to use  -  or make a collage of the best.  Luckily Pam came to lunch so I gave her the responsibility of making a choice.  Here it is:)
