The BBC news channel showed this image taken by Cassini in 2013, I caught the gentleman signing for the deaf pointing out the small, pale blue dot that is earth. Just how significant do we now feel?

The subtitles refer to the latest terrorist attack in London, reports of which dominated the news; by good fortune the incident did not prove fatal.
