Cloud Porn!

Book club was fun last night, we were a reduced group as some were away on holiday, but it was lovely to see those that could come. We finished just after midnight, so it was a late night!

Today, at last, it was the kind of settled, beautiful day that I usually associate with September. I had to go out with the camera to capture something of this stunning day - look at these clouds, they are quite something.

I did some grocery shopping for the weekend - I think we may have our last BBQ of the season this weekend, as it is definitely feeling autumnal now. A friend popped in to see me this afternoon and she brought me some beautiful roses, so that was a lovely treat.

The work on the garden is going well - they have removed all the stones from the beds but they did a test on the lawn and found that the stones go at least 40cm below the surface, so that will be a big job to dig all that up and then add new soil and top soil.

Friday night - off to cook supper and relax!
