Water

There is no natural water on Santorini, there is some desalination plants, using the sea water, but mostly people need to drink bottled water, which all has to be shipped in. Older properties have one of these contraptions, which collects the morning dew, which is plenty due to high humidity, and stores it in a cistern. The water is quiet salty though.
