Our welcome home

Well this was not  my intended photo for my blip today. On our way home from Britanny, I took a number of shots of which I was intending to choose one for my entry this evening. However, just as I arrived home, the clouds arrived with us and the rain came down..................if nothing else it proved that we had returned to Normandy ! However, the sun would not give in and insisted on showing a presence, the result of which was this beautiful rainbow. It was the very first time I have seen a rainbow complete and with such deep colours......truly magnificent, although the photo does not  give it credit. Unfortunately, it was too near us, and I didn't have my camera handy, so I used my 'phone. Whilst I took several shots, some of the left side and some of the right, I was unable to get a complete image, so I have finally chosen this one of the middle! Our journey home went well with no problems on the roads. However, we are very sad to be back, knowing that we have left behind us such beautiful scenery and the sea, which we both love so much. As I mentioned in my blip yesterday, we went to the old people's home this evening and visited the old lady who was so very pleased to see us. We will be returning to see her on Sunday and every other day thereafter for the next few weeks. The only member of her family who visits her regularly, one of her sons, is going on holiday Monday for three weeks, and so I think I already know what we will be up to over the same time period! Thank you for your continued following and especially for the stars and comments you have been giving me since my return at the beginning of this month. Certain of you award some of my entries with stars but do not leave any comments, so I am unable to thank you................there is obviously a way that I can, but I haven't discovered it yet. I'll check it out with Dave when I see him next week, he's such an expert with blip matters (in fact he's an expert at everything!).
