Ready for the Pot

Everything else was in the pot and the last job was to peel and chop the microwaved beetroot. Did a good job of keeping the kitchen from turning purple, not all that easy! Just over an hour later and we had half a dozen jars of beetroot & marrow chutney to add to the chutney store. Tastes OK just now but it'll sit maturing for a few months before getting a proper taste test. I can wait.
