River view

Unexpectedly I got a call at 1.30pm, and so went to pick up James from London this afternoon.  His internship has finished and the big party was last night rather than this so he had nothing planned apart from a night in alone.  I was down there like a shot to pick up my boy.  Lots of traffic and rain and jams, so it took ages but who cares, he's home now.

He has been lucky enough to spend his last week in a flat in the Docklands owned by my sister and husband who were in between rentals. This is the view from his balcony!

He's had an amazing experience at BAE and is much clearer about what, where and how he wants to work in the future.  It's been for 12 weeks  which has left him hardly any summer holiday time, but he's loved London...if only he'd had enough money to enjoy it.  So glad he's home and has a whole 2 weeks to be here before he goes back to Uni.
