Up at 4.45 after a bad nights sleep (mainly I was worrying I'd sleep through my alarm). Walked through a deserted Bristol to meet Marzena, and together we met Katy and our hire car.

The drive was long anyway and the traffic around Birmingham was baaad. We got to the hotel about 45 minutes after the start of the first session (but at least we weren't the latest ones). It was a long day but with plenty of coffee/pastry breaks (and freebies).

In the evening we dressed up (the theme was the Oscars) for dinner and then a 'Scandal' party. I don't think we were too scandalous, and thankfully we didn't end up sending our manager the drunkest looking photo from the photo booth. Bed at 1.
