All the way from Hawaii...

Today, after church and lunch and a movie (Valkyrie), we headed out to see . . .  Bob Fitts! Supported by a local band even. He's been to Dubai several times before, so not really a novelty, but it's always good to go and support a Christian artist especially as concerts like this are few and far between! We had seats next to two Chinese believers and it was fascinating listening to them talk about the things that are happening in their home country!

A friend from church was on the organising committee, so we actually got to go gratis. *Brilliant* !!! A nice cosy setting in a hotel we'd never been to before but very close to the venue where concerts are normally held... I am pleased we went, but disappointed Bob didn't sing some of the songs that he is well known for. He's still got tons of energy and stamina though, and so has his wife Kathy.

Back home via Peter's cafe for some much needed dinner! The weekend is flying.
