Today has been another quiet day at home because we are housebound due to Henry having chicken pox. Actually, I've quite enjoyed the quiet time it's given us without meeting up with people and having a chance to catch up with housework and just play quietly together. Although I'm sure that too much longer of this and I'll start to feel cabin fever!
Today has been sunshine and showers all day. Theo insists that if there is a puddle in sight, then he needs his umbrella and so here is a photo of Theo with his much loved "star wars" umbrella on the sunny walk home from school!
This evening we drove up the Heavens Gate near Longleat in Warminster as they are currently having a hot air balloon safari where they're launching numerous hot air balloons, many in fantastic shapes and characters. However, on the drive there the Heavens opened and there was a spectator thunder storm (cue impromptu lesson on thunder storms for Theo) with hail and flooded roads. Needless to say we didn't get to see any hot air balloons but it was exciting all the same!
