Back home to more autumnal tasks

Lots of fruit to pick. In this strange growing year, the only fruit to do really well have been the raspberries. Apples and pears were very poor, and the plums were nothing to boast about.

Having come to terms with the passing of this disappointing summer, I am now looking forward to log fires and winter hot-pots. It will soon be spring, won't it?
