Sale Day

This is a very large truck, full of young sheep, heading off to who knows where. They were quieter than I expected, although it is usually the mums left behind that I can hear. There was one however who was clearly crying, not just calling out for mum but really distressed, I couldn't be a crofter, too soft.

I was parked in my usual spot, by the ramp, facing inland, waiting for the teenager, and was really surprised to see the driver reverse into the queuing place....reversing onto the ferry, difficult but reversing off the other end, with no big open space to turn coming off the other side??? Wish we'd waited to see how it went.
