Rip David Malin

I heard some very sad news today, one of the most talented and inspirational people I've ever met passed away today aged just 60. David was a magnetic character, a musical genius who composed some amazing music and wrote some incredible lyrics. I am honoured to have known him and to have worked with him on some of his wonderful projects. He gave me so much encouragement and confidence in my 20s, he genuinely loved my voice and made me feel I could always give more, he was a great producer in the true sense of the word. He had an infectious beautiful laugh which I'll never forget. He had an open house always full of artists of one kind or another on Kensington Church Street where I met so many extraordinary people. He also told the best stories, he was hilarious, I feel very sad indeed. My heart goes out to his family xxx
