SATURDAY
....has been a quiet day apart from taking #1 son and his wife to the airport for their honeymoon to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, calling in on Dasher and her friends, Chickywoo and Hootabelle (all chickens) while the family, my daughter etc, are away. Dasher had managed to escape from the chicken run however we persuaded her to return to the run with a few tempting delights (leftovers from last night's dinner - they love it).
The sky was a beautiful blue earlier this afternoon and now it's overcast - forecast is for rain this evening.
Later, following a little shut eye in the chair, it was walkies to source a blip. I found this beautiful camellia with the smallest flowers - most of them had finished but this one was happy to show it's very best - at one of the houses on top of the hill from here. The flowers would be as small as a child's cupped hand. So beautiful.
Thank you for all the stars and comments for Friday's Rose.
