Zesty

I tried the gin and tonic tart recipe from Delicious. The tart has a little tonic in it, plus juniper, but doesn't really taste like gin and tonic, although there is a gin and tonic syrup to drizzle over. The slices of candied lemon and fresh lime look very pretty, but of course they are impossible to cut, and also difficult to eat with any decorum. For my money, A gin and tonic tart looks more like a tart with a layer of juniper lemon curd, and then a clear gin and tonic gel on top. Maybe one day I'll give that a go.
