Kosovan ceremonial headgear

Prizren was bathed in a beautiful light this evening and lit up this headgear for Muslim boys about to enter adulthood outside a shop selling traditional clothes.

Today has been an action-packed day travelling from Pristina to Prizren, visiting Graçanicë Monastery and Janjevo en-route. Prizren is a city with much Turkish influence and has plenty of historic mosques. At one of them we witnessed afternoon Ikindia prayers.

Overall Kosovo is proving to be a pleasant surprise and is totally off the tourist radar.
