Big Green Eating Machine

Japanese beetle = Kanabun.

Actually very small, 20mm in length, tops.  They come in a variety of colours but this green is my favorite.  However much they noble the plants I can't bring myself to dislike them.

This guy came in on the washing.  I tried to get him to stay still in the middle of a piece of red paper but he was having none of it.  Here he is on the tatami.
