Not one but ...

three actually.

After coffee morning at church where we had to turn the heating on, we went to do a bit of shopping. Dry and bright but decidedly chilly.

Getting home I went to bring the washing in and immediately spotted not one but three butterflies on the Everlasting Wallflower. At first I thought all three were Red Admirals, having only said this week that we never get any, but in actual fact there were two Red Admirals and a Peacock.

Maybe it is still late summer after all. My washing dried and I put more out and at least one was still there.
