Asters, Apples and Acorns

Back to practicing with Macro and DOF.  All found in or along the driveway.  

A butterfly social this afternoon and the temperatures were mid-summer and just beautiful.  It was an international group called Compassionate Friends who support people who've lost children, grandchildren and siblings from anything.  There was a walk, a photo memorial, lunch and then each family was given a Painted Lady butterfly to release in honor of their family member.  Very nicely done and the butterflies survived.
