Cheating Sky

Today I wished for a blue sky like the one in this photo I took on the 14th. 
But today smoke filled the city from the Eagle Creek Fire which is still burning in the Gorge. The air quality was unhealthy, and there was ash fall. I stayed inside. We're hoping for the winds to shift, for the predicted rain to arrive, and for the fires to cease.
