Fy Time
With the weather warming up, and our native freshwater fish called Golden Perch(often referred to as Yellowbelly) about to become more active feeding, I spent part of today sitting at my vise turning out a small army of flies suitable for them and possibly Murray Cod. Pictured are three of varying colours however I tied a number of other colours. The colour I use is guided by bright or dull days, clear or dirty water or a combination of both
The wire at the eyes of the flies is called a weed guard but it also helps the fly over hidden timber etc.
