Connemara

This bit of Galicia could be a (very slightly) drier, warmer, wilder Connemara 50 years ago.

A day of exploring the coast and beaches on the sometimes unpaved road, building stone castles, reversing out of the wrong roads etc, with the inevitable seafood lunch.

The second half was on a huge mostly deserted beach at Traba as the sun came out. Lovely.

The extra:  they work hard for our seafood.  I wondered why they all had such big engines, but now I see.
