Small Beginnings

CCN and I have been working on the veggie patch but as I mentioned the other day we have decided to add some colour as well. We have never been able to grow flowers at Wombat Hollow because of the hungry wild life like wallabies and wombats! We decided that at least we would have a fighting chance if we planted them in the veggie patch which has a very serious cyclone fence surrounding it. As you can see it has a lot of growing to do but I will post some progress photos along the way. At this stage it's a combination of silver beet, baby cos lettuce, parsley and spring onions alongside the African daisies, marigolds, lavender pansies and 59's iris. We've got our fingers crossed!
