Looking over the Cromarty Firth towards Invergordon, from the slipway near Newhall Point, on the Black Isle. There's also some sort of new fangled Royal Navy boat moored over that way too...

This second shot came out much better with the evening sunlight breaking through the clouds, and brightening the scene. Plus I remembered to focus this time... which does help.

Extra - digital view, with that rust colour attracting/distracting the eye, unlike the B&W version above. If I'd had the shot level, and not had to straighten it, I wouldn't have chopped off the top of those clouds. Then again, perhaps better if it hadn't been too tightly framed, with so little leeway... for this fussy git.
